What do we want Richfield to look like in fifty years? How can we help residents to thrive now and in the future? Economic development is a part of both of those answers including and beyond our current response to federal actions.
Economic development, by definition, should be inclusive and benefit all residents. Richfield has done a good job of taking care of its infrastructure, so we are poised to continue developing our tax base and economy in intentional ways. We have opportunities along the Cedar Corridor, near the new underpass, along 66th Street and Penn Avenue to name a few. A thoughtful community conversation about the future we envision is the next step.
